| Stains & Stain Coverage
Many types of fabric stains cover well dyed to a darker colour such as black or indigo (navy blue).
On occasions, it is possible to remove (strip) the original colour plus the stain. It depends on the type of fabric and the stain. Once the stain is completely removed, the item can be re-dyed close to it's original shade. If any chemicals - generally not visible - have saturated the fabric, this may cause the dye to be attracted to this area and dye to a darker colour. If this occurs, re-dyeing to black or indigo ) is necessary.
The Cullachange commitment is to reprocess at no extra cost if a better result can be achieved. For all strong, well made articles out Standard dye service is recommended for covering stains. If an item is delicate, old or complex in it's manufacturing style then the Individual dye service is best.
Stains such as bleach, blood, ink, tea, coffee, red wine etc., generally over-dye and cover well when dyed to darker colour. Pigment stains such as paint, whiteout, timber sealers and scorching cannot be covered by dyeing. | |
